Played lead creative director role in large scale collaboration with SV Arts Collective, project was 4 12′ x 20′ foot number benches, spanning 1 mile to create large clock viewable only from high in the sky.

A large scale, interactive, collaborative laser music experience exploring the idea that the next step in human evolution is the emergent intelligence that arises from human collaboration. My role for this installation is project coordinator, and design of the “emerging consciousness” experience.
From Barbarella to Obama: Conversations on My Garage Door 2005-2008. 9’wx7’h
Due the public nature of my garage door, it has become a point of conversation with local graffiti artists and the neighborhood. A futurist scrying pool, made of resin faces cast from sculpted faces, told your fortune in cryptic messages as you waved your hands over the pool.

In collaboration with Kathy Kim. As part of a larger project repurposing buildings to be destroyed into art exhibits, we transformed a room into a spiders’ web. People were able to crawl through the installation to feel the experience of being entangled in the web. Observers could watch through peep holes in the window.
Friends as Super Heros, Burning Man, 2006, 20’w x 5’h
Five oil portraits of friends as superheros, painted on plexigless and mounted into the ground so you could walk amongst the “hall of heros” as a hero yourself.
Oracle in Space Station, Burning Man, 2005, 5’w x 15’h
Messages from the future in the space station were received by standing on the oracle (a platform in a fluted tube of patterned string) and typing your questions into a keyboard. Responses were projected on the wall of the space station.
Online Oracle, Online project, 2004-2005.
This project explores people’s fascination with “Pythian” oracle messages, the priestess’ of the Delphi. Like the priestess’, rumored to be influenced by the “vapors” of the Temple, the Online Oracle presents randomly collected messages known to be randomly generated from the Internet.
Space Virgin Temple, Burning Man, 2002-2004.
A large scale collaborative project building a 1/3rd scale of the Parthenon facade that people can climb. My role was as creative lead/project coordinator, working with team of participants. Also created the “Goddess Sacrifice”, an 8 foot sculpture made of tape and newspaper to be burned at the end of the week.
Princess Cage, Burning Man, 2001.
Completed with Dave Vronay and Weiru Cai. Build a 15’diameter x 8’tall princess cage out of wood. We caught princesses in the cage, and they had to persuade passersby to let them out again.
