Imagine a tiny armada of spaceships flying across a field in the night. These spinning space ships, approximately 8″x8″ each, were an experiment in leveraging renewable energy in art for Electric Sky 2024, using the spinning wind like a small turbine to animate the LEDs. Made from laser cut wood, controllable LEDs, a microcontroller, and gears.
