Seven Voices explored the ongoing internal conversations people experience, expressing different and often conflicting aspects of their personality. As people approached the different faces, a sensor detected their proximity and the lights fluctuated to attract their attention. The pieces were made of clear resin, back lit with controllable LEDs.

Seven Voices was exhibited at the “Winter Lights: Explorations in Self-illuminated Art” art show at the Vermillion Art Gallery in Seattle in 2010. This project was a collaboration with Bee Wilkinson, who worked on the sensors.
