About me

RESEARCH, TECHNOLOGY, ART, COMMUNITY

As a research scientist, I have a PhD in Social Psychology, and in my technology career in both large-scale corporations and startups, I specialize in community technology research and development, including social, civic, and communications media systems.

As an artist, I am a classically trained painter who also works with interactive, experimental technologies in sculptural installations.

As a leader and community organizer I have served across many domains -- as a non-profit President, Town Councilmember, creative director, event producer, research manager, and conference chair.

Let's make art, tech, and community happen!

As an artist, my current work reflects both my love of experiencing nature and my fascination with the transformative impact of emerging technologies. As an organizer, my passion is building those communal and physical environments that lead to truly innovative, interdisciplinary projects -- through collaborative installations, makerspaces, exhibitions and events, life-long learning opportunities, and knowledge sharing through research, papers and presentations.
