We created this project as a part of the Digital Frontier show at Electric Sky. These two photon spirals represent futuristic train engines, created to scale of a train engine cylinder. I designed the project, and wrote the LED animation and installed the LEDs. Greg Larson assisted with the electronics and Dan Walker fabricated the panels using a large-bed laser cutter.
