I have always loved hiking, particularly in the Pacific Northwest mountains. In 2014 we bought a cabin in the historic, frontier mountain Town of Skykomish, which inspired a marked shift in the frequency of paintings not only about the local nature but also about its unique history. I have a painting studio in the cabin, and we also have a collaborative gallery and studio in town called Sky Artworks.
